The GM-70 is a solid wood F-style mandolin with carved top. It provides a traditional bluegrass punch and is shop adjusted for excellent playability. This professional mandolin has the highest grade materials including ebony fingerboard and bridge, solid spruce top, solid maple back, gold-plated hardware, genuine abalone inlay and a gorgeous gloss finish. Each GM-70 undergoes a complete professional setup in the Gold Tone Factory in Florida. To increase tone we sand the bridge feet for perfect fit with the top. To assure the best playability and lowest action we level and polish frets, adjust the truss rod, oil the fingerboard, adjust slots in the nut and bridge, and electronically intonate the bridge.
